r-les’ “transition” album drops today!

today, november 2nd, 2009, ryan leslie’s 2nd album this year, drops! it’s called transition and looks like this:

i got the chance to take a listen to it yesterday. you know i had to be on it, being a huge r-les supporter. and if you want my honest opinion, the album is so-so. i was expecting so much more because this made is built on talent. when i get a new album in my hands, i usually have the joint on rotation, album on repeat. after i was done with this, i was kinda ready to be on to the next. don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad album but it’s definitely not on the level of the self-titled ryan leslie album. and i feel, if you’re gonna drop another album within the same year as another album, it should be just as good if not better. but he does have some good tracks that i can rock with…

in cased you missed this also, lil mama also jumped on the stage at the VMAs….like what were you thinking?? it’s one thing for kanye to do it, at least in my opinion. of course it was rude as hell that he did it, but people still respect him….as for you, lil mama, not so much. c’mon, you didn’t have much of a career to begin with and well, you definitely just demolished it there for your 15mins of fame. jay didn’t seem too impressed; you can read it all over his face and body language.

the rest of the world seemed to agree. fabolous, king of starting trending topics, created “#lilmamais.” and well, he went hard. like “#lilmamais fast…i was gonna jump on stage too but she beat me to it” or my personal fave #Lilmamais the bird that flew outta Lady Gaga’s nest on her face!!” lmao. lil duval went on her too, saying that lil mama is a basic bitch for that, directing it at fab. and for all those non-twitterers, a basic bitch according to lil duval is a chic who deserves little to no respect; all they do is ask for things and complain…they don’t do much for you pretty much.
